The wait is over! Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh starrer Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’s soundtrack, Tum Kya Mile (female version) is out now. It is beautifully and melodiously sung by legendary singing sensation Shreya Ghoshal.
Dharma Productions – the official production house promoting the upcoming movie – confirmed the development today.
In a tweet, Dharma Productions wrote, “A special surprise to begin the celebrations! Soon after this announcement, popular singing sensation Shreya Ghoshal couldn’t control her excitement and asked her fans on Twitter, “Here is a special surprise for all SGians #TumKyaMileShreya is out now. Kaisa laga?”
To this, one Twitter user replied, “We're blessed to receive Shreya's version of #TumKyaMile” Another Twitter user said, “I am literally crying and feeling so awesome after hearing this version. Love you so much.”
Earlier in July, filmmaker and director of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Karan Johar, received criticism for allegedly sidelining Shreya Ghoshal in 'Tum Kya Mile' teaser video. However, rumours of any tiff between Karan and Shreya died down after they both appreciated each other’s works at recent promotional events of the movie.
Releasing theatrically tomorrow, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is an upcoming romantic comedy family drama film directed by Karan Johar and written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy. It is produced by Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios and stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh, and Alia Bhatt.
