In the week since Rakshit Shetty’s latest, 777 Charlie released in theatres, the Kiranraj K directorial has been showered with love from very many quarters. Most who have seen it have been touched by its emotional connect and have been effusive in their praise for the film. One of them is Bengaluru girl and south film actress Shraddha Srinath. Calling 777 Charlie a heart-warming feel-good film, the actress wrote on social media that she was so taken in by leading man Rakshit’s performance in the film that she now wants to work with him.

Shraddha, wrote, “Watched #777Charlie today. @rakshitshetty your performance was pure. So honest. Just sublime. Saying this out loud - i WANT to work with you :)” The actress, best known for her films like U-Turn, Vikram Vedha and Maara, among others, also had a lot of good things to say about Kiranraj and the film in general. She added, “@Kiranraj61 - you should be proud of what you have achieved. Excellent, excellent writing and direction. Hit the right spot every time. #777Charlie needs to be watched by everyone especially since its been served on a platter to us in so many languages. I implore everyone to watch it. A heart warming, feel good film with countless tender moments. Cinematography by Aravind Kashyap - incredible. I can't i just can't stop raving about this film. Today i witnessed something so beautiful and emotional, it's going to stay with me for very long.”

777 Charlie, produced by Rakshit’s Paramvah Studios, released in theatres on June 10 and has been doing well at the box office. The film is on course to breaking Rakshit’s previous box office records. The film about the transformative journey of a dog and the man that takes her in is currently playing in theatres in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
