2023 has been a special year for Shraddha Kapoor and her fans. This year she played a titular role in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar – a blockbuster film that minted over Rs 220 crores at the box office. Not only this, but the 36-year-old actress also begun working on the sets of her upcoming movie ‘Stree 2’. While her fans eagerly look forward to her upcoming projects, she has dropped a special New Year's Eve message for her loved ones.

Shraddha Kapoor – the second most-followed actress in India on Instagram, is celebrating New Year's Eve in a special way. Taking to Instagram today, Shraddha Kapoor dropped a special message for her loved ones which read, “Party kahan hai? Main tayyar hoon.”
Responding to this post, one admirer of Shraddha Kapoor wrote on Instagram, “Tomorrow is my birthday. So, I will give you a New Year and a Birthday party together. One-one toffee to everyone else, 5-5 toffee to you.”
“Are you 2024? Because I’ve been waiting for you,” wrote another Instagrammer in the comments section of the post.
One more Instagram user added, “Ye Stree aise hee active chahiye hume agle saal.” Shraddha responded, “2024 mein 2024 posts.”
“Do post tomorrow as well. Our New Year 2024 will be good,” said another Instagram user.
Shraddha Kapoor and her professional life
After a three-year hiatus from 2020 to 2023, Shraddha Kapoor returned to the big screen. She teamed up with actor Ranbir Kapoor in Luv Ranjan's romantic comedy Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar (2023), marking her comeback. The film achieved moderate commercial success.
Looking ahead, Shraddha Kapoor is set to reprise her role in the comedy horror sequel Stree 2. The original film, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, received acclaim from the audience in 2018. To the fans' delight, the makers announced the sequel in April, and in July, Rajkummar and Shraddha teased fans with a picture from the sets, indicating that the much-awaited Stree 2 has officially kicked off its shooting. The first installment also featured Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee in significant roles.
