Now, as the film's winning streak continues on both streaming platforms and the big screen, Shraddha Kapoor has shared her thoughts on Stree 2 surpassing two of Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbusters, Pathaan and Jawan. According to Shraddha, any film's success benefits the entire industry, not just the individual movie.

For the uninitiated, Stree 2 is the sequel to Stree (2018) and stars Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, Tamannaah Bhatia, Pankaj Tripathi, among others. The movie has been embraced by audiences, turning it into a blockbuster, with earnings approaching Rs 600 crore and still climbing. During a recent event, Shraddha was asked about Stree 2 surpassing SRK's Jawan and Pathaan at the box office. Read on for her response.
Shraddha, speaking at an NDTV event, addressed the success of Stree 2 in comparison to Shah Rukh Khan’s films. She said, "I have an absolutely fantastic leading man in our Indian film industry, Shah Rukh Khan, who I’ve grown up being a fan of. So, we’ll keep that where it belongs. But to be very, very honest, I am thrilled and overjoyed to be a part of a film that has received so much love."
She further emphasized that any movie’s success at the box office is beneficial for the entire industry, not just the specific film. "I know you're saying this again and again, that our film has beaten this film or that film. But honestly, the way I see it, any Hindi film doing well is great for the industry. It’s exciting to have a film that does well, but it’s even more exciting when the entire industry thrives and collectively a lot more films succeed," the actress added.
Is Stree 3 Possible?
The burning question making rounds on the internet now is whether Stree 3 is in the works. Addressing the speculation, Shraddha Kapoor confirmed that there is indeed a third installment, and she has already heard the story idea. "When Amar sir told me he had a story for Stree 3, I got very excited because I knew it was going to be something amazing. I can't wait to hear what it's about," she said.
