Showtime Trailer: Netizens just cannot get over the arresting screen presence of Emraan Hashmi, Mouni Roy and Mahima Makwana

After all the hype and days of waiting, ultimately, it was today when the much-awaited trailer of the Emraan Hashmi starrer Showtime got released. Right from the word go, it seems to be an out and out Emraan Hashmi show all the way! Added to Emraan Hashmi’s screen presence and his powerful performance as seen in the trailer, were his one liners. One does understand that, since it was just a trailer, the show’s makers could not load it with Emraan’s one liners. As for the netizens, it seems that they have taken an immense liking for the trailer of Showtime.

“Blockbuster acting emraanhashmi sir ki”

The very moment the show’s makers released the trailer of Showtime on social media, the fans just could not keep calm. They started pouring heaps of praises on Emraan Hashmi by complimenting him with comments like “blockbuster acting emraanhashmi sir ki”, “Lord emran is back”. But, it was Mouni Roy who seemed to have stolen the show amongst the netizens.

‘The way people r excited for Mouni, it makes me so proud of her’.

While one user wrote, ‘Mouni look stunning’, there was another who wrote, ‘The way people r excited for Mouni, it makes me so proud of her’. Another user wrote, ‘Mouni is slayinggggg’ and ‘Mouni looks stunning in every single frame’. A user while describing Mouni Roy’s acting abilities, commented, ‘Mouni ke pass charm hai second leads se main lead banana... She is acting machine’. There was also a user who seemed to have got disheartened with less screen spec for Mouni Roy in the show’s trailer.

Mouni was followed very closely by Mahima Makwana, whom, many netizens termed as ‘find of the season’. One user wrote, “Your outfit your style totally outstanding mind blowing mahima_makwana’. Other comments for her included ‘mahima bro you nailed it’, ‘Mahima you are fire’, ‘Mahima chak de phatte’, ‘congratulations Mahima my girl you rock it’ and others.

As for Showtime, besides Emraan Hashmi, Mouni Roy and Mahima Makwana, it stars a plethora of stellar actors in the form of Rajeev Khandelwal, Shriya Saran, Vijay Raaz, Naseeruddin Shah and Lilette Dubey in important roles. The show is all set to premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar from March 8.
