Shotyi Bole Shotyi Kichu Nei: Check out the new PHOTOS as Srijit Mukherji REVEALS the names of the old cast from 14 years

It is nothing short of a casting coup as a bevy of actors and actresses, including Parambrata Chatterjee, Ritwick Chakraborty, Ananya Chatterjee, Kanchan Mullick, Arjun Chakrabarty, Phalguni C  Chatterjee, Kaushik Sen, Kaushik Ganguly, Anirban Chakrabarti, Sauraseni Maitra, Rahul Arunodoy Banerjee and Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, joining Srijit Mukherji in his newest venture, Shotyi Bole Shotyi Kichu Nei. Recently, the first phase of the characters’ appearance was revealed. On Friday, the second phase of the other six characters were disclosed. Meanwhile, Srijit also shared an interesting trivia about the film with OTTplay.

On Thursday, we reported on the first look of Parambrata, Ritwick, Ananya, Kanchan, Arjun and Phalguni. Now we have the photos of Kaushik Sen, Kaushik Ganguly, Anirban, Sauraseni, Rahul Arunodoy, and Suhotro. 

Shotyi Bole Shotyi Kichu Nei original cast

Srijit’s Shotyi Bole Shotyi Kichu Nei is based on NSD’s drama Ek Ruka Huwa Faisla, later made into a film by Basu Chatterjee. Talking about his film, Srijit told us that it is a script he wrote 14 years ago. “It is an old script. I wrote in 2011. It had a different cast with Rituparno Ghosh, Anjan Dutta, Rudranil Ghosh, Swastika, Rupa, Sujan Neel Mukhopadhyay, Kaushik Ganguly, Dipankar De, Kanchan Mullick and others. I am making the film 14 years after it was envisaged,” he said. 

OTTplay was the first to report about the film. Initially, when the announcement Shotyi Bole Shotyi Kichu Nei happened last year, there was a set cast. Some of the actors, including Anirban Bhattacharya, Rudranil Ghosh, Satyam Bhattacharya and others were replaced in the final cast. Parambrata, Rahul and some others joined later in the final team.

The shooting of Shotyi Bole Shotyi Kichu Nei got over recently. Talking about the shooting, Srijit said, “We had a blast shooting the film with all these actors. I was amazed to see the effort and discipline they have put in. Hopefully, this social drama will find a place in the viewers’ hearts.”

According to reports, Shotyi Bole Shotyi Kichu Nei may be released in December, during the winter holidays. Along this Srijit’s film, Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy’s Amar Boss, Avijit Sen’s new film with Dev and some other Bengali movies will also be released.
