SHOCKING! Indraneil Sengupta and Barkha Bisht heading for DIVORCE

The finals of the ‘Gladrags Manhunt Contest’ was held in 1999. The contest, which was eventually won by John Abraham saw Indraneil Sengupta as one of the finalists. Post this, Indraneil Sengupta went onto model for some leading FMCG brand, walk the ramp for many designers, music video and also acted in the serial titled ‘Pyaar Ke Do Naam...Ek Raadha Ek Shyaam’. It is here, on the sets of ‘Pyaar Ke Do Naam...Ek Raadha Ek Shyaam’, he met up with Barkha Bisht. As time passed by, the two fell in love and eventually got married to each other in the year 2008. They were always termed as one of the most dignified and poised couples of the showbiz industry. That also explained the reason for the couple having such a strong and loyal fan base. The couple are parents to Meira, their 11-year-old daughter. A couple of years back, there were some rumors around brewing trouble in their marriage, which sent out shockwaves to their near and dear ones.

But a news report in today’s edition of ‘The Times Of India’ literally shocked not just their fans, but also almost everyone who knew the couple. The article stated that, Indraneil Sengupta and Barkha Bisht were heading for divorce! The article also revealed that, both, Indraneil Sengupta and Barkha Bisht were living separately for the last two years. Speaking to the publication, Barkha Bisht confirmed her divorce with Indraneil Sengupta. Barkha told the publication, “Yes, our divorce should come through soon. This has been one of the toughest decisions of my life. I am a single mother and Meira is my priority. On the work front, I have been doing interesting projects in the OTT space. I am open to good projects in TV and films, too.”

On the professional front, Barkha Bisht has been a part of TV shows like ‘Shaadi Mubarak’, ‘Paramavatar’ amongst others and also a handful of Bollywood films like ‘PM Narendra Modi’, ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela', ‘Villain’, ‘Samrat & Co.’ and others. As for Indraneil Sengupta, he has been a part of Hindi films like ‘Doctor G’, ‘Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga’, ‘Aazam’, ‘Satyagraha’ and also Bengali films like ‘Kiriti O Kalo Bhromor’, ‘Kaberi Antardhan’ and many others. Besides all this, he had even done an Assamese film titled ‘Jilmil Jonak’.
