Seeing the three Rajkumar siblings together onscreen was something that fans had been looking forward for a very long time. And following Puneeth Rajkumar’s tragic and untimely passing last year, it seemed that this would remain a dream. If the latest from the late actor’s last commercial film, James, is to be believed, the day is not far off when all three – Shivarajkumar, Raghavendra Rajkumar and Puneeth – will be seen together on the big screen.
According to a report, the makers of James have ensured that all three brothers will be seen in the film. Director Chetan Kumar has apparently shot certain sequences with Shivarajkumar and Raghavendra, which will be merged into the narrative of the film. The shoot for the same happened last Friday in Bengaluru and the makers are hopeful of revealing more about their characters shortly.
Meanwhile, post-production work on James is going on in full-swing, as the team is working towards ensuring that the film hits theatres on March 17, which is the late actor’s birthday. After the actor’s untimely passing, Chetan had revealed that they’d completed the talkie portions of the film and that only two songs were pending, allowing him to package it and present it as Puneeth’s last commercial film. At the time, the team had revealed that since James was not shot in sync sound and the actor had not dubbed for his role, they were looking at isolating his voice as captured during the shoot, enhancing the quality and utilizing it. However, the latest is that the team is looking for a suitable voice talent to dub for Puneeth. It was earlier reported that Shivarajkumar would do the needful for Puneeth’s character, but there’s been no final word on that. It may be noted that after Chiranjeevi Sarja’s death, his brother Dhruva dubbed for him in his last film.
