Shiva Rajkumar on 45 movie: 'Film shoots go on for 300, 400 days of late but...'

At the recently held muhurta ceremony of Arjun Janya's '45', century star Shiva Rajkumar made a rather perplexing revelation. The event took place to kick start the shooting of the film but turns out the Ghost actor has already watched it. "For the first time in my career, I got the opportunity to watch my film twice even before the shooting has begun," said Shivanna at the event, quite evidently beaming with pride.

It would then come to light that although the film is yet to physically go on floors, Arjun Janya has taken the help of technology to digitally conceptualize and design the entire story. Apparently, the work began almost a year ago and the team took painstaking efforts in realizing the 'mock version' of the actual film, ensuring that it comprised each element of the narrative.

"When I watched that version, I asked Arjun Janya to simply paste all our faces and release the film - the planning is so detailed and perfect that I was extremely surprised. What he did was he conceptualized the entire film and presented it to the producers even before the shooting began. Of late, you see film shoots going on for 200, 300 or even 400 days and by the end of it, you would have put on weight and look completely different. But with 45, we won't have that issue because Arjun Janya's planning is so good that I must laud his brilliance," added Shiva Rajkumar.

The veteran actor would also share a few interesting details about the story of the film, which marks Arjun Janya's debut as a director. "I can describe it as a 'philosophical entertainer' because the entire film is a message, in a way. We often see films about important subjects like pollution and family planning being classified as 'thesis' films but Arjun Janya has ensured that 45 is entertaining. You would want to come to the theatres to experience it," he added.
