Shiva Rajkumar - Golden Star Ganesh film with KS Ravikumar still on the cards?

It was reported a few months ago that renowned Tamil filmmaker KS Ravikumar is set to direct Shiva Rajkumar and Golden Star Ganesh in a commercial entertainer. The untitled project was to be produced by Surappa Babu or M.B. Babu who had previously collaborated with KS Ravikumar on Kotigobba 2 before making Kotigobba 3 with Kiccha Sudeep and a different director.

While the project caught the attention of fans when it was announced, one has heard no news of its development since then. Considering that Shiva Rajkumar has been associated with several projects in the recent past but not all of them have managed to see the light of day yet, one began to wonder if this interesting collaboration, too, got lost in the mix.

However, it seems that Golden Star Ganesh and Shiva Rajkumar will work together after all as a tiny glimmer of hope appears on the latter's 61st birthday. Shivanna birthday on July 12 has brought in a flurry of updates with most of them being first-look or concept posters of the films he is meant to be part of. 

One such is the untitled KS Ravikumar film which is billed as a multistarrer including Shiva Rajkumar and Ganesh. The project is tentatively titled 'Production No. 6' and the concept poster reveals that it will be an action entertainer with both the leads expectedly playing crucial parts.

When will the film take off? Well, that's up to the entities involved to shed light on because, at the moment, Shiva Rajkumar seems the busiest actor in the business today with more than 10 projects to his name. Aside from the ones that are already on the floors - namely, Ghost, Bhairathi Ranagal, Yogaraj Bhat's Karataka Dhamanaka and Arjun Janya's 45 - he also has a film with Telugu director Raam Dhulipudi, another project named 'IV Returns' with Laki Gopal, an untitled film with Karthik Adwaith, Tagaru 2 with Suri, Ashwatthama with Sachin Ravi and many others.

Shiva Rajkumar also has two Tamil films in the form of Jailer and Captain Miller wherein he plays small but key roles.
