Shiddat’s Chitta song: Radhika Madan and Sunny Kaushal’s emotional journey is heart-touching

Radhika Madan and Sunny Kaushal’s Shiddat has been breaking the internet in the country. The makers have now dropped another romantic song titled Citta from the recently released film. The soulful track has been rendered by Manan Bhardwaj while lyrics and composition have been done by the musician himself.

Chitta begins with an emotional conversation between the duo on a call. Moving forward, the video song shares glimpses of the romantic moments of the duo that they spent together at the sports camp in India. Sunny’s adventurous and illegal trip from India to London via France was also shown in the latest track. It also features a dream sequence where the actor sees himself barging at the actress’ wedding.

Sunny announced the release of the song on his Instagram story and also shared the link of the video track with his fans.

In an exclusive chat with OTTplay, when asked about how did the duo ‘break the ice’ to perform the romantic and steamy scenes in Shiddat, the Gold actor replied, “We didn't need to. We first bumped into each other after we were locked for Shiddat. We met at a screening where we connected. After that, there was no need to break the ice. We had readings and started shooting after that meeting.”

Adding to that, the actress mentioned that they are both professionals and have mutual respect and that helped everything to flow effortlessly at that time.

The Shiddat actors also mentioned that even though the film is a cliche romantic tale about a young couple, the story is something that the audience has never witnessed before.

The Kunal Deshmukh directorial, which also stars Mohit Raina and Diana Penty in pivotal roles, is available to be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.
