Shehar Lakhot: The eight-episode drama features Priyanshu Painyuli as Devendra Singh Tomar aka Dev.

Premiering on Prime Video, Shehar Lakhot is a noir crime thriller that tells the story of a prodigal son who must face his past by going back to his birthplace called Lakhot. Devendra Singh Tomar played by Mirzapur fame Priyanshu Painyuli is the main character of the show.
In an exclusive conversation with OTTplay, Priyanshu discusses his experience playing the lead in the 8-episode series and speaks about his meteoric rise from Mirzapur's supporting role to headlining a show.
He said: "You now want to see if you can head one primary part full-fledged for eight episodes, can you hold the audience as equal as you have been appreciated in different roles and different places and different avatars. All the new actors, all of us now want to keep experimenting with ourselves."
Talking about his character in the show, the actor said, "Yeh bhi ek alag tareeke ka character hai toh vo ek nervousness rehti hai ki aapko Robin ke character ke liye itna pasand kiya gaya hai. Responsibility badh jaati hai. Lekin yeh bhi hota hai ki yeh sab karne ke liye aaye the to mai pressure nahi leta, darta nahi. Been there, ab kar lia hai. Mujhe pata hai maine mera kaam sacchai se kar liya hai ab jisko pasand aayega vo aayega hi." (This is also a different type of character, so there is a nervousness that you have been liked so much for the character of Robin (in Mirzapur Season 2). The responsibility increases. But then again when I have come to do all this, I don't take pressure, I'm not afraid. Been there, done that. I know I have done my work honestly, but now whoever likes it will like it).
