In an interview with Zoom, Sonakshi's father and actor-MP, Shatrughan Sinha, said that he is in Delhi right now. The election results prompted him to fly there. The veteran actor has remained silent regarding his daughter's plans. He asked, "Is she actually getting married? Sonakshi hasn't told him anything about it, which is the answer.
Shatrughan continued by saying that he is only as knowledgeable as what he has read in the media. When she confides in him, he and his wife will bestow their blessings on the couple. They trust her judgement and hope she finds happiness. The senior actor asserted that Sonakshi would never make an illegal or extraconstitutional choice. She is an adult with the legal capacity to make her own choices.
