Shark Tank India’s stage witnessed a variety of unique products which elicited some strong responses from the sharks, and not all of them were positive. One among them was definitely Sippline’s ‘drinking shields’ or ‘glass ka mask’. Founded by Rohit Warrier, the company’s product came in the form of a plastic rim to be used on glasses, that serves as a sort of ‘shield’ to avoid direct contact on a glass. Although the founder had to leave the show without a deal, it did not stop him from illustrating the benefits of the product on social media. Warrier recently posted a clip wherein he demonstrates the correct way to use the drinking shield, and not everyone responded to the video kindly.
Warrier posted the instructional video on Sippline’s official social media handles. In the comment section, many users mercilessly trolled the businessman. While one user called it a ‘gimmicky product’, another commented why the founder was even doing all of this.
Some users even mentioned some of the phrases that were thrown at Warrier during his appearance on Shark Tank India.
Among the hoards of critics, there were some users who appreciated the businessman and his products.
There were also netizens who encouraged the founder to make use of his Shark Tank India fame and make even more products.
The founder however was the very picture of grace while responding to the criticism.
During his appearance on Shark Tank India, the founder failed to impress the sharks with his products and walked out without a deal. The sharks also brutally criticised the Sippline product, especially Ashneer Grover.
But Warrier also proved that he could give as he gets, having posted videos where he takes a dig at the sharks and their comments through which he tries to promote his product.
