Shark Tank India returns for a fourth season after three groundbreaking predecessors. This season will once again showcase innovative concepts and deals that could potentially impact the future of start-ups in India.

Meet the returning Sharks

Aman Gupta, co-founder and chief marketing officer of boAt Lifestyle; Anupam Mittal, co-founder and chief executive officer of People Group; Namita Thapar, executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited; co-founder and chief executive officer of Lenskart; and Ritesh Agarwal, founder and group chief executive officer of OYO, are the Sharks that have begun filming the first episode. Viewers may anticipate the arrival of fresh perspectives and business acumen as the season progresses with the introduction of new sharks to the panel.

With comedian Ashish Solanki and actor Sahiba Bali joining forces as hosts this season, the show is sure to take a fresh approach.

Platform inspiring Indian entrepreneurs

Shark Tank India has been an inspiration to many Indians since its start, giving them the confidence to pitch their business ideas. "Sirf Dream Job Nahi, Apne Dream Idea Ke Peeche Bhaagega India. (India will not just chase a dream job, but will run after its dream idea.)" is the slogan of this year's campaign, which will feature ambitious individuals who are determined to make their dreams a reality.

For the uninitiated, angel investors and potential backers, known as "Sharks", hear entrepreneurs pitch their ideas for new businesses and products on the show. Each participant pitches their business idea to the group of self-made millionaires, who then select whether to invest in the venture or provide marketing and mentoring services. In the first season, Rannvijay Singh hosted the show. In the second season, comedian Rahul Dua took over for Singh and continued in that role for the upcoming third season as well.
