Shark Tank India Season 3 – Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal grills entrepreneurs, netizens compare him with Ashneer Grover

In the third season of Shark Tank India, a new addition to the panel of sharks is Deepinder Goyal, the Founder and CEO of Zomato. A recent promotional video for the upcoming business reality show, shared on the official Instagram page of Shark Tank India, features Namita Thapar, Anupam Mittal, Vineeta Singh, and Aman Gupta introducing Deepinder Goyal. Soon after the introduction session, the show began with Deepinder grilling entrepreneurs.

In the latest promo of the show, we saw the founders of Intervue – a platform which helps companies in carrying out interviews of their likely employees – seeking investment. One of the founders revealed that he does not draw a salary as he has ample savings in store. Hearing this, Deepinder felt strange. Only time will tell whether Deepinder will invest in the digital platform.

In another still from the promo, the founders of WTF – a fitness brand, arrived on the show to seek investment. At first glance, Deepinder noticed that the contact number provided on the poster of the company is of nine digits only, instead of 10. Later, Deepinder pointed out a few grammatical mistakes on the poster. “You are on national television. Is this cool?” Deepinder disappointingly said to WTF founders.

Reactions to the latest promo of Shark Tank India

On Instagrammer in the comments section wrote, “Who is the new shark?” Another Instagrammer replied, “Zomato founder hai woh.” One more Instagrammer added, “Love Deepinder bro. He is better than Ashneer.” Many social media users, however, disagreed with the comment.

Stand-up comedian Rahul Dua will take on the role of host and guide for this season of Shark Tank India. Beyond securing investments, the show highlights the inspiring stories and challenges of the selected entrepreneurs, leaving an impact on both the sharks and the viewers.
