The third season of 'Shark Tank India' kicked off with an exciting array of entrepreneurs, featuring 12 sharks, including the debut of Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal. The initial episode highlighted familiar faces such as Amit Jain, Anupam Mittal, Vineeta Singh, Namita Thapar, Peeyush Goyal and Aman Gupta. Deepinder Goyal made a notable entrance in the following episode, leaving a lasting impact on the audience. A recent promotional video for the show introduces Inshorts CEO Azhar Iqubal as a promising young investor, or "Shark," in the third episode.
In the latest promo of the show, we see founders of ‘80WASH’ pitching investors to invest in their company. The company sells uniquely created washing machines - which wash clothes in 80 seconds without water.
Vineeta Singh, one of the investors of the show, was unable to digest this idea and appeared unconvinced with the pitch. In the promo, we see her doubting whether such machines can wash clothes cleanly without bacteria or any odour. Other investors appeared confused too.
Only time will tell whether the investors will invest in such a business model.
Meanwhile, the promo also shows Peyush Goyal as a Shark on the show, thereby hinting that he is back on the show with the upcoming third episode.
Deepinder Goyal's incisive questioning style and insightful comments during pitches garnered considerable attention, leading fans to draw parallels with businessman Ashneer Grover, the renowned Shark who did not return for the second season. One fan expressed a sentiment echoed by many, referring to Goyal as the "new soft Ashneer Grover in Shark Tank India S3." Social media was abuzz with comments such as "Deepinder Goyal is stealing the show" and "Yeh Shark toh danger hai (This Shark is dangerous)," indicating the audience's enthusiastic reception to his debut.
In the second episode of the show, Deepinder Goyal demonstrated his keen attention to detail during a pitch involving gym owners. He pinpointed a crucial flaw in their company advertisement, noting that the phone number displayed had 9 digits, and also brought attention to grammatical errors.
