Jugaadu Kamlesh aka Kamlesh Nanasaheb Ghumare is already working with Lenskart founder Peyush Bansal , who backed his project at Shark Tank India. Peyush went live from Lenskart’s official YouTube channel and revealed the way ahead for Kamlesh. He revealed what is happening with Kamlesh’s pesticide cart and other projects.
While giving an update, Peyush revealed that the product needs more work. “We understood the problems with the product, that what will it take if it has to launch in the market. The problem is that the soil for plants used by farmers is narrow but the cart is very wide,” he shared.
Stating that they will work on changing its design for the same reason, Peyush also added that he and Kamlesh are working together to make the product multi-purpose so it is more durable.
Peyush has roped in a designer who will be working on the product and the prototype would be ready within six-eight weeks. The entrepreneur plans to create the product according to customer’s needs and thus, he has motivated Kamlesh to meet his customers personally. “We will meet the customers in a dhaba which Kamlesh had opened and is abandoned right now. He also told me that there is a lot of demand for Lenskart so we’ll open a store there and turn that into a franchise too,” Peyush was heard saying in the video.
He promised reviving the product and launching it in the market soon. Peyush also put his faith in Kamlesh seeing how he survived through tough times for a decade.
Kamlesh mentioned that while he felt like giving up, he recalled spending 10 years behind his project and thus, took the faith of leap and reach Shark Tank India, where he met Peyush and struck a deal with him. He spoke about his product and said that he just wanted to make it adjustable for the farmers but now that he sees the opportunity, he wants it to be multi-purpose too.
Jugaadu Kamlesh invented the pesticide cart to help the farmers secure their own health while securing their plants. Kamlesh began working on the project after seeing his own father struggle with what is day-to-day life for them.
Kamlesh has promised to release other products for farmers as well. They all fit in with his tag – Jugaad.
