Shark Tank India is one of the most popular reality shows of recent times. The successful entrepreneurs who judged the show rose to fame overnight not only for investing in several startups but also for their usual dialogues and clothes they wore on the show. Several judges were seen wearing the same outfit in several episodes of the show and here's why.

During a conversation with comedians, Tanmay Bhat, Rohan Joshi and Sahil Shah, Namita Thapar, executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, and Aman Gupta, co-founder of boAt made the revelation. Gupta said that they were made to wear the same clothes for days so that the makers of the show could shuffle and use the shoots for any episode. Thapar soon interrupted him and said, "Stop being nice." Gupta then revealed that his biggest regret of doing the show is that he had to wear the same outfit for several days.

Thapar added that the sharks even offered to pay for their clothes but the makers did not agree. She said that the makers would tell them that they should wear the same clothes because of the 'Global Franchise SOP' and hence, they cannot allow them to change their outfits even though they were ready to pay for them from their own pockets.

Season one of the show ended earlier last month. Apart from Gupta and Thapar, the show was also judged by Ashneer Grover, Peyush Bansal, Anupam Mittal, Vineeta Singh, and Ghazal Alagh. The show, adapted from the US show Shark Tank, was hosted by Rannvijay Singha. The show is available to stream on SonyLIV.
