The business reality show, Shark Tank India is one of the most popular shows of recent times. The show has become a dinner-table talk across the country. The show that ended early in February, was about startup founders pitching their business ideas and models to sharks aka investors on the show and requesting funds in exchange for a certain stake in the company.

The sharks on season one included Ashneer Grover (former MD of BharatPe); Aman Gupta (co-founder and chief marketing officer of boAt), Anupam Mittal (founder and CEO of Shaadi.com), Namita Thapar (executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Vineeta Singh (CEO and co-founder of SUGAR Cosmetics), Peyush Bansal (co-founder and CEO of Lenskart) and Ghazal Alagh (Co-founder and Chief Mama of MamaEarth). And it seems, these sharks were not the only ones who invested in the startups that presented their pitches on the show. The show's host Rannvijay Singha has also turned into an investor.

Singha has invested in one of the startups, which got an all-shark deal on the show. Singha shared a fun video on Instagram to announce the news. He has invested in the company, In A Can which sells canned cocktails. He is seen dancing against the backdrop of party lights as he reveals that he too has become a stakeholder in the company. In the caption for the reel on the platform, he wrote: "I am so happy and proud to be a part of your entrepreneurial journey with @inacancocktails .We’ll work together and take this to the next level. Cheers!" He urged his followers to follow the social media pages of the company and stay tuned to all the updates.

The startup is founded by Sameer Mirajkar and Viraj Sawant. On the show, they had received an all-shark deal of Rs 1 crore for 10 per cent equity.

Meanwhile, the entire season one of Shark Tank India is available to stream on SonyLIV.
