Piyush Suri and Neetica Pande, founders of Nooe, recently pitched their premium accessories brand on Shark Tank India 4. They secured a huge deal of Rs 5 crore for 51% equity from shark Peyush Bansal. Piyush recently claimed that he and Neetica were 'harshly treated' on the show despite getting a big deal. Suri wasn't sure if 2 hours was a good time for sharks to judge their outlier brand.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Piyush Suri of Nooe mentioned that people are surprised by the quality and price points they offer through their outlier brand. Suri added that some judges of Shark Tank India 4 were also surprised as to how a brand can sell their products in Harrods, London.
"There was a little bit of a disbelief but at the same time, when an outlier comes to the tank, it’s very easy to judge brands that are making for India. It’s very hard to judge what we do because we are unique," said Shark Tank India 4 pitcher Piyush.
Suri further claimed that he and Neetica were 'harshly treated' on the show. "We are an outlier brand and I don’t know if 2 hours is a good enough time for sharks to also judge that. They have a limited understanding of different industries and they also have a different understanding of someone else’s brand. We got a little bit of harshly treated because of that." He believes that if the Sharks had given them more time, they could've given them better understanding.
Piyush Suri on building Nooe
In the same conversation, Piyush Suri shared his thoughts about building Nooe. The entrepreneur feels one should first build a brand as a customer. He thought it was natural to combine his and Neetica's skills and interests into a brand considering their vast experience in design and product development. The duo wanted to create a design-centered premium luxury brand.
