We know that Shark Tank India is one of the most popular and entertaining business reality shows in India. Currently, Season 3 of the show is aired on Sony LIV every Monday to Friday. Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, Peyush Bansal, Amit Jain, Vineeta Singh, and Anupam Mittal have been retained as Sharks from the previous season, while six new Sharks have also joined the panel. Together, they grill aspiring entrepreneurs – who pitch their ideas/services/products to seek an investment from Sharks (aka investors).
The latest promotional video of Shark Tank India Season 3 sees the entry of three pitchers who promote the Tohands app. The application reportedly syncs well with calculators. After the sync, one can view all the income and expenses on Android phones. The company is based in Bengaluru currently.
The company's CEO, Praveen Mishra, also revealed that he is aged 22. Hearing this Vineeta Singh – a Shark on the show, felt extremely happy to know the courage of young entrepreneurs.
After the pitchers concluded their pitch, the Sharks on the panel namely Anupam, Aman, Vineeta, Radhika Gupta (new Shark), and Varun Dua (new Shark) desired to view the calculators sold by them. However, contrary to expectations, the calculator failed to function properly during the pitch, leaving the pitchers tense. Will the pitchers be able to crack a deal on the show? Only time will confirm the development.
Season 1 of the show aired on Sony LIV and Sony Entertainment Television from December 20, 2021, to February 4, 2022. Season 2 followed suit on Sony LIV and Sony Entertainment Television from January 2, 2023, to March 10, 2023.
Season 3 commenced streaming on Sony LIV and Sony Entertainment Television starting January 22, 2024. Notably, this season introduces six distinguished sharks to the panel: Deepinder Goyal (Founder and CEO, Zomato), Azhar Iqubal (Co-founder & CEO, InShorts), Ritesh Agarwal (Founder & CEO, OYO Rooms), Radhika Gupta (MD & CEO, Edelweiss MF), Varun Dua (Founder, ACKO), and Ronnie Screwvala (Co-founder and Chairperson, UpGrad).
Rahul Dua has been the presenter of Shark Tank India since Season 2, succeeding Rannvijay Singh from Season 1.
