Shark Tank India Season 3, a business reality television series airing on Sony Entertainment Television, features aspiring entrepreneurs from India pitching their business models to a panel of investors, persuading them to invest money in their ideas. The investors, affectionately known as Sharks on the show, include Anupam Mittal, Vineeta Singh, Namita Thapar, Aman Gupta, Peyush Bansal, and Amit Jain. Season 3 also introduces six new Sharks making their debut. Here's a glimpse of what you can anticipate in the upcoming episodes of the show.
The latest promotional video of Shark Tank India Season 3 sees the presence of a company’s founder specializing in car cleaning services. Though the video does not showcase what the founder of the company said exactly, it did convey that Anupam Mittal and Amit Jain were not impressed by the business model pitched to them.
Amit Jain said, “Yaar, gadbad lag rahi hai kuch. (My friend, I feel something is wrong.)”
Anupam agreed with Amit and told the founder, “Yaar, aapne apni aad main hardware bana diya hai, software bhi bana diya hai. Battery bhi bana di. Yeh ek car cleaning service hai boss. This is completely commoditized. Koi nahi dekhta aapne car kaise clean ki hai as long as apne car clean ki hai. Main aapko batata hoon. Bewakoofi aur bahaduri main bahut kam fark hota hai. (Friend, you have created hardware, even developed software, and even made a battery. This is a car cleaning service, boss. It's completely standardized. No one cares how you clean your car as long as you've cleaned it. Let me tell you. There's very little difference between foolishness and bravery.”
Anupam sternly added, “Aapke business investors and advisors ka yeh farz banta hai ki woh aapko yeh baat samjhaye. (It becomes the duty of your business investors and advisors to explain this to you.)”
Only time will tell whether the pitcher cracked a deal with the Sharks or not.
