It is not a secret that Aman Gupta is one of the most entertaining Sharks of Shark Tank India. Right from Season 1 of the business reality show, he has been the favourite of Instagram meme creators. Last week, an episode of the show showcased Aman presenting an offer to a copperware brand. The offer was soon matched by other Sharks on the panel, leaving Aman delivering a hilarious reaction. A recent episode of Shark Tank India Season 3 showed the presence of three pitchers promoting a brand named P-TAL. Situated in Chandigarh, it is an enterprise that focuses on furnishing its clients with genuine brass, copper, and kansa utensils. The corporation aims to breathe new life into the waning craft of the thathera community situated in Jandiala Guru, Amritsar. The pitchers sought an investment worth Rs 50 lakh in exchange for 1% equity of their company.
After understanding the details of the brand’s vision and what they wish to offer in the marketplace, Sharks (aka investors) were left mighty impressed. Vineeta Singh, Amit Jain, Namita Thapar, Anupam Mittal and Aman Gupta were the Sharks on the panel.
Aman Gupta made the first offer of fifty lakh rupees in return for a 1.5% stake in the company. Although the rest of the sharks showed equal interest by matching his offer, Vineeta Singh presented another plan and offered fifty lakh rupees for 1.4% shares. Watching this, Aman funnily remarked, “Copy kyu karte hai mujhe yeh log. 4 mese 4 Sharks ne same offer de diya.”
Vineeta Singh proposed an investment of Rs 1 crore in exchange for a 3.2% equity stake, a deal that the entrepreneurs accepted. Consequently, P-TAL secured a deal with all the Sharks on Shark Tank India Season 3.
What’s new in Season 3 of the show?
Besides the presence of previous Sharks from the show, the latest season also saw the presence of famous businesspeople namely Deepinder Goyal, Ritesh Agarwal, Radhika Gupta, Ronnie Screwvala, Azhar Iqubal and Varun Dua.
