Shark Tank India 2 release date: When and where to watch the second season of the popular business reality show on OTT

Shark Tank India certainly struck a chord with viewers, becoming one of the most popular Indian reality television shows during its debut season. Viewers certainly seemed to have been impressed by the show’s fresh format, bringing something unique to the reality TV scene in the country. After the show wrapped up its successful first season, viewers were already anxiously waiting for the second. The wait is finally over, as the second season of the popular business reality show is set to hit the silver screen soon, with a few changes.

The popular business reality show is the Indian version of the international business reality show franchise. The show’s initial format originated in Japan, and is referred to as either Dragon’s Den or Shark Tank. Versions of the show exist in Australia, the United States, Egypt, Austria, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Thailand, the United Kingdom and more.

The format of the show involves a group of investors known as Sharks, generally seasoned businesspersons, who hear pitches from contestants who must persuade the sharks to invest in their business.

Who are the judges on Shark Tank India season 2?

The second season of Shark Tank India brings back most of the original sharks, including SUGAR Cosmetics co-founder and CEO Vineeta Singh, boAt co-founder and CMO Aman Gupta, Emcure Pharmaceuticals’ executive director Namita Thapar, Lenskart co-founder and CEO Peyush Bansal and Shaadi.com founder and CEO Anupam Mittal.

BharatPe founder Ashneer Grover, who was one of the original sharks is absent from the second season. The businessman is replaced by Car Dekho Group co-founder and CEO Amit Jain.

Shark Tank India season 2 will premiere on January 2, 2023, at 10 PM on SonyLIV and Sony Television.
