Shankar Mahadevan is mighty impressed with the music of Sunainaa's Regina, extends wishes to the makers

The audio and trailer launch event of Regina was held in Chennai a few weeks ago and makers had expressed confidence in the crime drama which is releasing in theatres on June 23. Sunainaa plays the lead in the movie which has been helmed by Domin Dsilva.

Sathish Nair has bankrolled the film under the banner of Yellow Bear Production and he himself has composed music. At the audio event, he revealed that Gangai Amaren has been his inspiration and thanked him profusely for everything he got to learn from the veteran.

Popular singer Shankar Mahadevan has now come up with a video in which he is seen talking about the expectations he has pinned on the songs in Regina. He has lent voice for a few songs in the film and said that he is really impressed with Sathish's composition. Shankar has also wished the entire team of the film a huge success. 

He said, "I would like to congratulate the entire team of Regina for their fabulous work. Its music is a fantastic piece of work by Sathish Nair. I got the privilege to sing a few songs in multiple languages for the movie."

Regina has Pavi K Pavan and Toby John handling cinematography and editing respectively. R Sakthisaravanan and Domin Dsilva have composed action choreography while Sakthi Film Factory is releasing the film across Tamil Nadu.

The movie revolves around the life of a woman who faces a series of unexpected twists in her life. How she withstands several odds and hatches plans to take revenge against those who destroyed her dreams forms the rest of the story.
