Bharateeyudu 2 did not have much buzz in Telugu states from day one. Fans were upset that Shankar chose Indian 2 and delayed Ram Charan's Game Changer for three years. Now, Bharateeyudu 2 is struggling at the Telugu box office and has been removed from several screens already.
Game Changer's release date to be locked
Now, fans are quite scared as to what Shankar would have done with Game Changer and whether the film will be up to the mark or not. Shankar, in one of his interviews, revealed that there is only a week of shooting left before the film is wrapped up. Ram Charan is done with his part and is on a break now.
Meanwhile, we at OTTplay have come to know that producer Dil Raju will meet Shankar tomorrow to lock in the new release date of the film. The makers are looking at either a Christmas 2024 release or a Sankranthi 2025 release.
As Shankar needs a lot of time to wrap up post-production, the above-said time period is being looked at. Game Changer has Kiara Advani as the female lead in this film, which has music by Thaman. Amazon Prime has bagged the OTT rights of Game Changer for a fancy price.
Anirudh was disappointed big time with Bharateeyudu 2, and the fans are scared of what Thaman would do with Game Changer. So, to clear all the tension among the fans, Dil Raju has decided to announce the release date and create a positive buzz for the film.
Srikanth, Sunil, and Anjali play critical roles in this film, which has a period set up. Ram Charan plays an IAS officer in Game Changer. Dil Raju has produced this film on a mammoth budget of Rs 250 crore. Watch this space for more updates.
