Shamshera teaser: Ranbir Kapoor as dacoit fights for freedom against menacing Sanjay Dutt

Ahead of the big trailer release for Shamshera, the makers have dropped the teaser for the film. With this film, Ranbir Kapoor, who plays the titular role, will be seen on the big screen after four long years. In the film, directed by Karan Malhotra, the actor plays the role of a dacoit, which is a first for him. The teaser also shows Sanjay Dutt, who plays the main antagonist in Shamshera.

In the teaser, we see Dutt torturing and harassing people with his menacing look and growling face. To save them, Kapoor makes an entry while horse-riding in a deserted area while he takes an oath to free his people from the atrocities. Only a few glimpses of the actor are shown in the teaser, in which he dons a full beard and long locks. The teaser ends with Kapoor dancing in slow motion while hiding his face from the screen.
