The crew is already in post-production on their next film, Deva, which stars Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde. The action-thriller's original release date was February 14, 2025, which coincided with Valentine's Day. The current release date for the film, however, is January 31, 2025. Vicky Kaushal's next big film, Chhaava, has pushed back its theatrical release date from December 6, 2024, to February 14, 2025.

Production details for Deva

Rosshan Andrews' action thriller Deva follows this year's Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya for Shahid as a lead. Prior to this, moviegoers would have had to hold off until February 14, 2025, to see the film in theatres. But now, the film's PR team has verified that moviegoers can enjoy the performance early on January 31, 2025.

According to the release, Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films' action thriller Deva, starring Shahid Kapoor, is set to hit screens earlier on January 31, 2025. Zee Studios and Siddharth Roy Kapur are the producers of the project, which is being directed by the famous Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrews. Pavail Gulati also plays a pivotal role in the film.

Chhava release postponed

The news of the delay in Vicky Kaushal's upcoming film, Chhaava, further piqued the audience's interest. The entertainer's producers have officially confirmed the postponement of the film's theatrical release date from December 6, 2024, to February 14, 2025.

The makers made this decision knowing that the nation will celebrate Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti on February 19, 2025. Vicky plays the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and a Maratha ruler, in this film directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan.

Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife, Maharani Yesubai Bhonsale, while Akshaye Khanna plays Aurangzeb. Not only that, but Santosh Juvekar, Pradeep Rawat, Divya Dutta, Neil Bhoopalam, and Ashutosh Rana will all be making significant appearances in the film.
