We all know that Shah Rukh Khan's fame is not just restricted to India. He enjoys an international audience as well. Globally, his fans are ever ready to walk that extra mile to get a mere glimpse of him. The testimony to his fandom can be gauged from the fact that, there are innumerable fans who gather outside his palatial abode ‘Mannat’, only to see him waving at them and acknowledging their love and respect for him. Even though the film ‘Zero’ did not create the expected magic at the box-office, Shah Rukh Khan’s latest release ‘Pathaan’ more than proved to be a monster hot of sorts, not just in India, but, even in international waters as well.

Speaking of ‘Pathaan’, almost everything about the film became a craze in itself. Be it chartbuster music or the ‘magnetically fiery’; the film’s one-liners to even the costumes worn by the film’s lead stars, everything had got a fan following of its own. These formed one of the key elements in the film collecting more than a whopping Rs. 1050 Crores Worldwide gross and Rs. 525 cr nett Hindi in India. One may note that these box office figures not just indicate the film’s earnings, but also qualifies ‘Pathaan’ to register the highest box office collections ever for a Hindi film. Even though Shah Rukh Khan enjoys a humungous fandom and craze across the globe, the success of ‘Pathaan’ has only escalated the same furthermore. Besides Shah Rukh Khan, the film 'Pathaan' also starred Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead roles. 

Testimony to this is in the form of a stunning wax statue which has been unveiled in Asansol. The wax statute resembles Shah Rukh Khan’s pose in ‘Pathaan’. The man behind the wax statue is Sushant Roy, a sculptor by profession. The said wax statue has been kept for display at Asansol’s ‘Roy’s Wax Museum’ in West Bengal. The wax statue was unveiled by Asansol Corporation Mayor Bidhan Upadhyay and Chairman Amarnath Chattopadhyay, as per a report in Box Office Worldwide. The reason for making Shah Rukh Khan’s wax statue seemed to be the increasing demands from the visitors who felt that there should be a Shah Rukh Khan’s wax statue as well alongwith other wax statues.

On the films’ front, Shah Rukh Khan will now be seen in ‘Jawan’, ‘Dunki’ and a reported special appearance in the Saaman Khan starrer ‘Tiger 3’.
