Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan becomes FIRST Hindi film to cross Rs 1100 crore globally

Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan is unstoppable at the box office! The movie is enjoying its dream run in cinemas. Since its theatrical release on September 7, the Atlee directorial has shattered as well as set many box office records. Now, the SRK-starrer has become the first Hindi movie to cross Rs 1100 crore (GBOC) globally.

SRK's Jawan sets a new record!

Red Chillies Entertainment shared an official update about Jawan's new worldwide box office record. The total BO collection of SRK's film stands at Rs 1103.27 crore (GBOC). The Indian gross box office earning of Jawan is Rs 733.37 crore while the overseas one is 369.90 crore.

Celebrating this feat., the makers of Shah Rukh's movie penned, "Jawan Making & breaking box office records every day! Book your tickets now! Watch Jawan in cinemas - in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu (sic)."

Jawan on OTT

The buzz is that Jawan will have a Netflix premiere on SRK's 58th birthday, which is on November 2. According to a Pinkvilla report, the superstar will be shooting a special announcement video about Jawan's OTT release on October 11, 2023. Approximately two months after its theatrical run, the blockbuster project will stream on the OTT platform.

What's next for SRK?

On the work front, Shah Rukh has a special appearance in Salman Khan's Tiger 3. Helmed by Maneesh Sharma, the film also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. It is scheduled to hit the silver screen on Diwali 2023. The action-thriller has been produced by Yash Raj Films.

In December, SRK will be back with Dunki. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film will feature Taapsee Pannu romancing the superstar. It is all set to clash with Prabhas' Salaar at the box office on December 22, 2023.
