Shah Rukh Khan made a roaring comeback to movies in 2023 with Pathaan. The Bollywood superstar had been away from films after the debacle of his 2018 film Zero. Cut to last year, SRK left everyone impressed with his action sequences and dance moves in the Siddharth Anand directorial. In a recent interview, choreographer Bosco Martis revealed how Shah Rukh Khan shot for a Jhoome Jo Pathaan despite a 'busted knee'.
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Bosco Martis revealed that Shah Rukh Khan completely surrenders while filming a song as he knows the choreographer has his back. Although he had a busted knee and a bad back, SRK did the steps given to him by Bosco for Jhoome Jo Pathaan.
"He’s got a busted knee, his back is gone. He never complains, never. That’s the beauty," said Bosco. Even though SRK wasn't comfortable with the steps of Jhoome Jo Pathaan. However, the superstar didn't ask the choreographer to change the steps because of his physicality. Shah Rukh tried his best to pull off the moves given by Martis. "And that’s the energy and effort that’s gone into making him such a superstar," added Bosco.
In Siddharth Anand's actioner, Shah Rukh Khan essayed the role of a RAW agent, Pathaan. The superstar reunited with Deepika Padukone, who played the part of Dr Rubina Mohsin. John Abraham, on the other hand, was seen as Jim. Besides them, Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana played pivotal characters in the movie.
After a roaring comeback with Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan featured in filmmaker Atlee's Jawan. In the film, he starred alongside Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra and others. Following the stupendous success of Jawan, SRK ended the year with Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki. In that movie, the superstar shared screen space with Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, and Boman Irani.
