Actor Shah Rukh Khan recently uploaded a heartfelt tribute to Amitabh Bachchan for his 80th birthday and shared what he has learned from the legendary actor,, “ to never back away….instead learn….level up and launch again and again….forever. May you always be healthy and entertain our grandchildren also.”

Both Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan are Bollywood superstars. While they both have succeeded in inspiring and entertaining countless humans across the globe, today on the occasion of Mr Bachchan’s 80th birthday, Shah Rukh took to his Instagram handle to establish how much the actor has inspired him over the years. He states that if there is one thing to learn from the Bollywood legend, who is not just a superstar and a great actor but a great man, father and overall superhuman, it is to never back away. Rather, to take the lesson from each situation and focus on bettering oneself. He goes on to wish him good health and longevity, stating his desire to watch him continue to entertain the generation to follow as well, “May you always be healthy and entertain our grandchildren also. Love you sir.” He ends the caption by tagging the acclaimed actor and accompanies it with a video where the two of them can be seen singing together, expressing their love for one another. On June 2022, Amitabh had been the one to share a snippet of the iconic duo on his Instagram, posting a throwback photo of the two of them. In the photo, Amitabh can be seen signing a poster of Don for SRK. He captioned it, ". and errr continuing in the same vein .. DON (sic)."
Shah Rukh and Amitabh have done several projects together. The duo featured in several films together, as well, such as Mohabbatein (2000), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Veer-Zaara (2004), Paheli (2005), and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006), among others.
Amitabh Bachchan has a plethora of upcoming releases, including Uunchai and Project K with Prabhas. He was last seen in Jhund, Runway 34, Brahmastra and Goodbye with Rashmika Mandanna. Shah Rukh Khan, meanwhile, was last seen in Aanand L. Rai's Zero (2018). The actor’s three upcoming releases in 2023 include Pathaan, which hits the theatres on January 25, 2023, Jawan on June 2, and Dunki on December 22.
