Shah Rukh Khan heads to Kashmir for Dunki shoot, receives grand welcome - watch video

Shah Rukh Khan is currently in Kashmir. The actor headed there to shoot for his next schedule of Dunki. The superstar received a grand welcome there.

SRK has visited Kashmir for a movie after a decade. The actor was there around 2012 when he was shooting for Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

A fan shared a video of the actor’s welcome in Kashmir. SRK received a bouquet of flowers and shawl as a welcome present in ‘Paradise on Earth.’

The hotel staff gifted Shah Rukh Khan a shawl as a warm gesture to welcome the actor back in Sonmarg. Meanwhile, one of SRK’s team members carried the bouquet along with him.

The actor was surrounded by dozens soon after getting out of his car. That is where he was welcomed with the warm gifts and gestures.

Reportedly, SRK will be shooting a song sequence for Dunki in Kashmir. Rajkumar Hirani of 3 Idiots, PK and Sanju fame directs the film starring Shah Rukh and Taapsee Pannu.

It is the first time that SRK and Rajkumar Hirani team up for a movie. Rajkumar has worked with Aamir on 3 Idiots and PK previously.

Dunki is a comic film. It is a take on the word ‘Donkey.’ SRK had once called Dunki ‘a big journey film, and the film goes through different areas around the world and finally comes back home to India.’
