Shah Rukh Khan gets nostalgic as he shares NEW poster of daughter Suhana Khan’s debut film, The Archies

Directed by Zoya Akhtar, The Archies is an upcoming Indian musical adaptation of the popular Archie Comics series. This series features as many as seven celebrity kids playing lead roles in the film. One such celebrity kid is Suhana Khan – the daughter of legendary Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan – who will be seen as Veronica Lodge in the film.

Lodge is one of the main characters in the Archie Comics franchise. She is the keyboardist and one of the three vocalists of rock band The Archies.

Today morning, the fresh poster of the upcoming film, The Archies, was dropped by Netflix. Taking to Instagram, Netflix India wrote, “Dil thaam ke baithe because @archiesnetflix will be kicking into action soon!”

Soon after this post was released, several Instagram users dropped hearts on the post. It is evident that The Archies is believed to be one of the most-awaited films of the year.

Reacting to the development, Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan couldn’t contain his happiness. He dropped an appreciation post for his daughter Suhana Khan and the entire team of The Archies. It read, “I remember when I was young (millions of years ago) I would book my Archie’s Digest in advance to rent. Nostalgia. I hope Big Moose is also in the film! All the best to the whole cast and love.”

The Archies – a Netflix film directed by Zoya Akhtar – also features Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Aditi Seigal, and Yuvraj Menda in crucial roles.

In December last year, Zoya Akhtar celebrated the completion of her next film 'The Archies' with a party in Mumbai.

If reports are to be believed, this film is planned to be promoted in a grand manner. A report in The Times of India says that Alia Bhatt, along with the cast of Zoya Akhtar's The Archies, is all set to attend an OTT event in Brazil, from June 16 to 18.
