Shah Rukh Khan FINALLY responds to Nayanthara's role in Jawan: Unfortunately, the scheme of things couldn’t find more screen time

Millions of people have already watched Jawan and expressed their love for the film. There are several reasons to love the film, including Shah Rukh Khan's dual act, Atlee's direction and screenplay, Vijay Sethupathi, and Nayanthara's Hindi film debut, along with Deepika Padukone's extended cameo appearance. However, there are a few issues that were expressed about the film. This includes Nayanthara's screen time in the second half. Now, during an Ask SRK session on X, the superstar addressed it.

Addressing issues with Nayanthara's screen time:

One of the users shared a photo from the film featuring Shah Rukh and his onscreen stepdaughter Suji, played by Seeza Saroj Mehta. With the still, the user wrote to SRK, "I loved Azad’s bond with Suji. The single mom storyline was so subtly done and really refreshing. Thank you for representing women from all walks of life. I love you, Shah. (sic)"

Addressing Nayanthara's role in Jawan, Shah Rukh replied, "I also felt that the story of Narmada as a single mom was amazing. Unfortunately, the scheme of things couldn’t find more screen time, but as it was, it was also wonderful. (sic)"

Well, many would definitely agree with the superstar.

Rumours of Nayanthara's discontent and SRK's response

Earlier this week, there were reports making the rounds that Nayanthara is rumoured to be upset with Atlee for "sidelining" her role in Jawan and Deepika stealing the attention.

Talking about the same, a source told Hindustan Times, "Nayanthara has been very upset with Atlee because her role was chopped in the film. Also, Deepika’s character was elevated, and Nayanthara’s part was significantly sidelined."

Thus, many believe that this is SRK's way of breaking the silence on the controversy that has generated.

However, amid all the reports, Nayanthara did wish Atlee a happy birthday via her Instagram story and wrote that she is proud of him.
