If there's a surprise on Valentine's Day by Shah Rukh Khan, it's indeed going to be a delightful one. On February 14, Netflix India released a morning surprise featuring the superstar, in which he talks about something very special happening to the OTT giant. Well, we feel that the special announcement is that Dunki will be dropping on Netflix any time soon.
Clues pointing to Dunki's arrival on Netflix
SRK says in the video, "Today, February 14th, I, your eternal Valentine, am here to announce that something very special will happen on Netflix. See you soon."

Why do we believe Dunki is coming to Netflix today? According to the video, Shah Rukh is suited up in style. In case you don't remember, the superstar wore the suit back in November 2023 for an event in Delhi just ahead of the release of Dunki.
The makers shot the promotional and marketing videos way ahead of time and strategically planned for Dunki to drop on Netflix nearly two months after its theatrical run.
A Glimpse into Dunki: plot and cast
In Dunki, four buddies from a tranquil little hamlet in Punjab share a shared dream: to travel to England. Their dilemma is that they don't have a visa or a ticket. A soldier gets off a train one day, and their lives change. He makes them a soldier's promise: he will transport them to the place of their dreams. What follows is an amusing and touching story of a risky trek across the desert and the sea, but most importantly, into the hinterlands of their thoughts. A voyage that challenges and defines them: their bravery, intelligence, and the strain of opposing philosophies. Dunki is a story about friendships, borders, longing for home, and love that rises above it all.
Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Grover, and Vikram Kochhar, along with Shah Rukh Khan, are among the brilliant actors that bring their vivid personalities to life in Dunki. Presented by Rajkumar Hirani Films, Red Chillies Entertainment, and JIO Studios; produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan. The team of Dunki—Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon—has finally brought their screenplay to life.
Although Dunki received mixed reviews from the masses and critics alike, people praised SRK, Taapsee, and Vicky for their incredible performances despite their slightly weak screenplay. The film marked the first outing of SRK with Hirani, Taapsee, and Vicky, which itself brought excitement among fans.
