Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film Pathaan has been grabbing the eyeballs for reasons more than one. While the fans went berserk after the release of Pathaan teaser, the frenzy reached its pinnacle after the makers recently dropped the first song, Besharam Rang, from the film.
While netizens have been raving about the sensuous avatar of Deepika and her sizzling chemistry with Shah Rukh in the song, it seems that certain portions of the song have irked Madhya Pradesh minister Narottam Mishra. Mishra not only objected to the use of saffron colours costumes in the song (Deepika can be seen clad in saffron-colored beachwear), but also opined that the film contains objectionable scenes.
In a tweet that Mishra posted on his Twitter page, he called Deepika a supporter of the tukde tukde gang while referring to her visit to JNU during the protests that took place back in January 2022. He objected to the costumes used in Besharam Rang song and said that the song has been pictured with dirty intentions and a polluted mindset.
Mishra further went on to add that the makers should either correct or delete the objectionable scenes else he won't consider releasing the film in the state. Check out the tweet here:

Shot amidst some beautiful locations in Spain, the song brings the iconic jodi of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone together after Happy New Year which was released back in 2014. Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan also stars John Abraham and is all set to hit the silver screens on January 25, 2023.
