Main Hoon Na is one of the most memorable films in the 90s kids childhood. The movie provided entertainment in its true sense. One scene which was utter disgust but also funny was where Satish Shah had to spit water on Shah Rukh Khan. However, the latter could not stop laughing. Thus, shooting for the scene became tough but director Farah Khan eventually managed.

What she spilled

During her time on Maniesh Paul’s podcast, Farah revealed that Shah Rukh Khan could not stop laughing every time Satish Shah had to spit on him. Satish would drink water and spit on SRK. For six takes straight, Shah Rukh Khan kept laughing every time the scene was in action. Farah even told SRK, ‘Kar le na shot, he is spitting on you.’

What Satish Shah had said

Satish Shah had also spoken about the incident previously. He had told Bollywood Bubble that the scene had to be shot in eight takes. Finally, he lost his cool and said he wouldn’t do the scene, after the eighth take. On hearing that, everybody on set started laughing. Satish then revealed that since SRK laughed even during the eighth take, there was an insert of Zayed Khan’s face in the scene. The actor accepted that it is very tough to put a straight face and perform such scenes.

What Satish thought about himself after doing the role

The actor would sometimes work on his dialogues with water in his mouth. There was a point when the water would come out of his mouth in the form of a spray. This again caused a laughter riot on sets. Thus, Satish gave himself the tag of ‘spitting cobra.’

Currently, there was another speculation on whether Main Hoon Na 2 will be in the works. Neither Farah nor SRK or Sushmita Sen confirmed or denied the same. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is currently seen in the Atlee directorial Jawan. The film has crossed the milestone of Rs. 500 crores globally and has minted more than Rs. 300 crores in India alone, all within four days of its release.
