Shah Rukh Khan is currently at the Locarno Film Festival and has also become the first Indian to receive the Pardo alla Carriera Ascona-Locarno Tourism award at the Film Festival. Today, when King Khan sat for an interview with the Artistic Director of the Locarno Film Festival, Giona A. Nazzaro, for an expansive public conversation about his life and career, he finally confirmed his collaboration with filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh. Read on for details.

While SRK fans are waiting with bated breath for him to announce his next movie, the superstar confirmed that he is working on a film with Sujoy Ghosh. While we have earlier reported about this possible collaboration, the actor himself has now confirmed it making it official. He is heard saying in the video, “There are certain kinds of film that I want to do, maybe it’s more age centric and I want to try something for 6-7 years I’ve been thinking about it and I mentioned it to Sujoy one day while we were sitting. He works with us at our office, he’s made some films for us. He says, Sir, I’ve a subject.”

Not just this, Shah Rukh Khan also confirmed the title of the film in the same interview as he said, "The next film I am doing King, I have to start working on it, lose some weight, do some stretching"

If reports are to be believed King, helmed by Sujoy Ghosh is produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand. The film, which is an action thriller, will be shot in India and abroad and is expected to go on floors in November this year. Along with SRK, the film will also feature Abhishek Bachchan, Suhana Khan, and Munjya fame Abhay Verma.

Meanwhile, while receiving the prestigious award at the 77th edition of the prestigious film festival, King Khan said, “This award here, which, for the life of me, I've been trying… I can't pronounce." He then playfully renamed the award - “the Leopard award for being the most awesome in the world, in the history of humility and kindness and goodness.”
