The fantasy drama directed by Ayan Mukerji features Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. Earlier, the film was titled Dragon, given that RK's character is Agniastra, and he throws fire, which is his superpower. As Brahmastra is a part of the trilogy, towards the end of the film, the makers finally revealed the title of the second instalment.

The title of the second instalment also serves as a mid-credit scene of the film, which gives a glimpse into what we can expect more from the trilogy in the making.
Meanwhile, in Brahmastra, Shiva, a DJ, discovers his odd connection with the element of fire, as well as his ability to awaken the Brahmastra, a supernatural weapon claimed to be capable of destroying the universe and vanquishing all things. On the other hand, Junoon, the queen of dark forces, on the other hand, is also on a journey to obtain the Brahmastra.
In the film, Bachchan plays Guru, the head of the Brahmansh, a group of sages who use the Prabhastra to control the Brahm-Shakti. While Anish Shetty, a Brahmansh member, an artist and wielder of the Nandi Astra, is played by Nagarjuna Akkineni, Mouni Roy plays the main antagonist in the film as Junoon, who is touted to be the queen of darkness.
