Selfish, Ashish's second film after Rowdy Boys to have a grand launch tomorrow; here's the first look

Ashish Reddy, the nephew of popular Telugu producer Dil Raju, made his acting debut with a launch vehicle titled Rowdy Boys this Sankranti, is getting ready for his next film. Titled Selfish, the film will be helmed by Kasi Vishal, a former associate of Pushpa director Sukumar. Like his first film, even Selfish will be produced by Dil Raju, who'll also be collaborating with Sukumar under Sri Venkateswara Creations and Sukumar Writings. The first look of the entertainer was unveiled today.

Touted to be a youthful entertainer, Selfish will be formally launched at a grand event in the presence of several film dignitaries tomorrow. Ahead of the launch, the makers planned an innovative promotional strategy for the project, where Ashish is in conversation with Dil Raju, directors Anil Ravipudi and Sukumar across three videos.In these humourous interactions, we see Ashish being desperate about getting into the skin of the character for Selfish.

In the video where Ashish is in conversation with Dil Raju, the latter acts as if he has forgotten about the launch of Selfish amidst the several big projects he's involved with. With Sukumar, Ashish is referring to various characters in the director's films including Arya 2, Jr NTR's Nannaku Prematho and the recently released Pushpa: The Rise, claiming that its protagonists were selfish too. On the sets of F3, Ashish even halts the shoot to convince Anil Ravipudi to attend the film launch tomorrow.

In an earlier chat with the press, Dil Raju said that Sukumar was visibly impressed by the looks, images, videos of Ashish and was convinced that he could headline Selfish. The first schedule of Selfish will take off shortly. Mickey J Meyer composes the music and S Manikandhan will crank the camera.
