Secret Level trailer: Keanu Reeves, Arnold Schwarzenegger lead star-studded cast in animated video game anthology

There is a new trailer for the forthcoming show Secret Level. The anthology series Secret Level on Prime Video will feature animated takes on a variety of well-known video games. The first season will consist of fifteen episodes and will showcase video game adaptations like Pac-Man and New World: Aeternum. Secret Level will feature a stellar cast, including Aidan Bristow, Keanu Reeves, Ariana Greenblatt, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Laura Bailey, Kevin Hat, Michael Beach, Emily Swallow, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Clive Standen, Claudia Doumit, Temuera Morrison, and Ricky Whittle.

Teaser trailer reveals animation style and game adaptations

Prime Video has just dropped the teaser for their new show, Secret Level. Featuring iconic characters from well-known video games, the trailer unveils Secret Level's animation style. Following a character montage, the trailer delves deeper into the identities of some of the game adaptations. Secret Level is going to incorporate Unreal Tournament, Pac-Man, New World: Aeternum, Dungeons & Dragons, The Outer Worlds 2, Honour of Kings, Armoured Core, Megaman, Exodus, Spelunky, Concord, Sifu, and Mega Man, as well as others.

Sweeping music sets the emotional tone of the Secret Level teaser. A description of the show's collection of stories reads, "There are groundbreaking stories from your favourite games." This capitalises on the fond memories that Prime Video users from yesteryear will have of the games shown in Secret Level. The featured games include some true classics, including Pac-Man and Mega Man, which are sure to appeal to fans of the series.

Distinctive graphic style

The graphic style is another striking feature of the Secret Level promotional video. Despite its clean style and high-tech CGI, the graphics style makes the various scenarios seem more similar than they did in the original games. For instance, Spelunky's visual design is noticeably different from its 2D platformer roots; the game now resembles more Secret Level take on Concord than the original. The traditional looks of the original games may divide fans.
