After the grand success of the first season of ‘Crackdown’, the show is now all set for its second season. This time round, it will be premiered from May 25 and for free on JioCinema. Just like the first season, the show’s second season also stars an array of stellar performers like Saqib Saleem, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Iqbal Khan, Sonali Kulkarni, Freddy Daruwala, Hemant Kher, Waluscha De Sousa, Ankur Bhatia and Sachin Parikh. The said series has been created and directed by Apoorva Lakhia.
Speaking about the show’s second season, Apoorva Lakhia said, “Working on the ‘Crackdown’ series has been one of the amazing experiences I have had as a director. All of us, who were associated with the making of season 1 were truly humbled by the overwhelming response we received from the critics as well as the viewers, this response motivated all of us to create a much bigger canvas for season 2 of crackdown. From shooting across exceptional locations like Thailand, Kashmir, Jaisalmer, Delhi, Pune and Mumbai to bringing in ace action director, Ali Abbas Mughal so put the actors through a rigorous training schedule as the action pieces were huge and needed to be perfectly coordinated.”

He continued, “For Crackdown Season 2 we promise our viewers an exceptional cinematic experience. On the other hand, actor Saqib Saleem, who plays the role of Riyaz Pathan in the series, said, “I am extremely grateful that I got to bring Riyaaz Pathan to the digital screens! The second season was grueling both in terms of training as well as the anticipation to ensure that I did justice to Riyaaz Pathan’s journey on the show. From gun firing classes to rigorous MMA training – we went through it all to ensure the most authentic portrayal of our fearless RAW agents. A show this huge, needs a platform just as grand to bring alive the larger-than-life moments. Meanwhile, Shriya Pilgaonkar also shared her thoughts about the second season of ‘Crackdown’.
