The web series "School Of Lies," which stars Nimrat Kaur, has piqued viewers' interest with its interesting premise and thrilling story and cast. The show is inspired by true events.

Recently, Nimrat joined OTTplay for an exclusive chat for her recent School Of Lies, where she talked about working with a bunch of kids, why she decided to be a part of the Avinash Arun directed show, strong female characters and much more!

Talking about her experience working with a bunch of child actors, Nimrat Kaur says, “Fabulous. I got to interact with such young, vibrant actors. It’s my first time to work with so many kids of different age groups, so I had a really interesting time."

When asked that as we have all seen the transition of female characters getting stronger and stronger day by day, and her character in the show looks fierce and bold, wat are her thoughts of changing times and female character becoming more impactful? The Airlift actor says, "I feel that the advantage of abundance of content is that people can’t repeat that much anymore. The audience has so much to watch that they will move quite quickly. They will decide in the first five minutes ki humko kuch dekhna hai ya nahi dekhna hai. Creatively, I think everybody is very challenged that this is the right way at this point. Sabko pata hai ki mediocrity ke din ab nahi chal payenge. Even we as actors, cannot sustain if we take things lightly. If we don’t choose interesting part, if we don’t write interesting parts, naya kuch nahi hoga to vo kaam nahi dekhenge log."

She further added, "Aap ghar baithke poori duniya ki chize dekh sakte hai. 150 chize release hoti hai ek mahine me. I don’t even have a track of how much gets released. It’s crazy. So obviously, there are only that many kind of female parts that we have seen for a certain point, it started shifting or moving from a certain point. I think from a decade things really started to move. Now we’re living in the best time where we’re spoilt for choice. However there’s still a lot of time where we should actually reach. But it’s a great time to be alive as a female actor for sure."

School Of Lies tells the story of a child who disappears from his boarding school. The show also features Varin Roopani, Aamir Bashir, Sonali Kulkarni, Vir Pachisia, Aryan Singh Ahlawat, Geetika Vidya Ohlyan, Hemant Kher, Nitin Goel, and Shakti Anand.

School Of Lies premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on June 2.
