The first song from Anil Kapoor-Divya Khossla Kumar-Harshvardhan Rane's Savi is out. The track is out even before the trailer is released and within a few days of the second teaser's unveiling. Humdum speaks of the romance between Divya and Harshvardhan. In the song, the latter channels his inner Ranbir Kapoor. Through many scenes in the song, you will recall Ranbir's iconic moments in movies. Here's decoding them...
Divya Khossla Kumar begins talking about her romance with her lover, played by Harshvardhan Rane, in the track unveiled by the makers. This is after the second teaser of the film revealed that she is a killer. The actess affirms the same ahead of the song which is crooned by Vishal Mishra.
In one scene, which is among the first scenes of the song, Harshvardhan Rane and Divya Khossla Kumar give out Jagga Jasoos and Animal vibes. The two replicate Ranbir and Katrina behaving like young kids in the Anurag Basu directorial. In the very scene, Harshvardhan's entry is with a fight scene. He beats up a man, almost exactly how Ranbir and Bobby Deol fought in Animal. This time around, he is swayed by his love and gets the beating after seeing her and getting distracted. Divya channels her inner Preeti (from Shahid Kapoor-Kiara Advani's Kabir Singh) as she cares for him after the fight. PS: There's a scene at the Tunganath temple too, a la Animal.

Harshvardhan dons a new look for the film, at least in the song. Vishal Mishra singing 'Tu Humdum Humdum Hai Jaana Mere Dil Ka' is the highlight and hook-line of the song.
Remember Priyanka Chopra's balcony scene with Ranbir Kapoor in Barfi? Something similar happens in the song.
Soon after, you get the Tu Hai Ki Nahi vibes (same hair, same bike, same driving style), except this time, Harshvardhan actually has a lover, unlike Ranbir in the Roy song.
Snowy mountains follow and the couple makes snow fairies. Not only that, there's a campfire setting. While Bunny and Naina were the shy couple in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, here the couple expresses love in the open.
