After a wait of about two weeks, Satyaprem Ki Katha is finally available to all subscribers on Prime Video. The film dropped on the leading OTT platform on August 11, 2023, but on rent. However, now everyone who has subscribed to Prime Video can watch the film, which stars Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. Following Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the lead actors make their second appearance in the romantic drama film under the direction of Sameer Vidwans.
About Satyaprem Ki Katha:
In the film, Sattu (Karthik Aaryan) is a well-intentioned but otherwise useless LLB dropout who has his heart set on marrying Katha (Kiara Advani), the IT girl of Ahmedabad. Unfortunately for Katha, fate has other ideas, and the two of them end up getting married. From then on, Sattu begins his efforts to win his wife's love; it is through this process that he learns about himself and ultimately succeeds as a husband.

During an interaction with PTI, when asked about the film, Sameer Vidwans stated, "This is the story of a feminist husband. Women have to fight for their rights because society is quite patriarchal. And if we want to deal with a patriarchal society, then men need to have sensitivity. With our film, we have given a kind of husband who says, 'You go and become the hero; I will be the supporting character of your story'."
