Zebra is Satyadev's latest film, which turned out to be a decent hit at the box office. At OTTplay, we previously revealed that Aha acquired the digital rights to the film for a hefty price, with streaming set to begin on December 20, 2024. Ahead of its OTT release, the film's crew addressed the media and shared their excitement.

Satyadev, the lead actor, expressed confidence in the film’s appeal, saying, "The concept of Zebra and its narration will resonate with audiences who missed it in theaters. With a crisp runtime, Zebra is the perfect watch. We’re thrilled with the film’s success and eagerly awaiting the response from OTT viewers."
The makers also engaged fans by holding a contest and gifting props used in the film to a few lucky winners. In Zebra, Satyadev plays a bank employee who gets involved in a banking scam, leading to major conflicts with a don, portrayed by Dhananjaya. His performance was widely appreciated, marking a striking comeback to Telugu cinema after the success of Pushpa.

The film features a stellar supporting cast, including Sathyaraj, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Sunil, Sathya Akala, Jeniffer Piccinato, and Amrutha Iyengar in key roles. It has been a while since Satyadev appeared in a Telugu film. After starting his career with minor roles, he shifted his focus to OTT projects and gained popularity with critically acclaimed shows like Locked.
His career took a significant turn when he played the main antagonist in Chiranjeevi's Godfather, earning him widespread recognition. However, his last few films didn’t perform well, making the OTT release of Zebra highly anticipated.
When asked about the quick transition of Zebra to OTT within a month of its theatrical release, Satyadev explained, "Releasing a film on OTT within a month has become a standard practice since most films complete their theatrical run in that time."
