Exclusive: Satya fame JD Chakravarthy wraps up a gritty Telugu web series for Hotstar

Actor JD Chakravarthy made his Telugu debut with the Ram Gopal Varma film Shiva. Post that film's success, he did some films as a male lead but he got national acclaim with the RGV film Satya. Later, he turned director and made some films but they did not work. JD as he is fondly called was away from the radar for years and is finally making a strong comeback in Telugu.

We have come to know exclusively that JD Chakravarthy wrapped up a mystery web series for Hotstar a few days back. Acclaimed director, Pawan Sadineni has helmed this series which is a gritty crime drama with some seasoned actors like Eesha Rebba, and Ramy Nambeesam doing key roles in it.

JD is playing a hard-hitting role in this series which is being produced by SVF entertainments, who are owners of the app HOICHOI. The series will also be dubbed in multiple languages and will be out in April 2023. The shoot is done and the post-production is on as of now.

Director Pawan Sadineni is high on the success of his last OTT film Senapathi which had Rajendra Prasad in a key role and he also won the OTT play Award for the film. The same team who helmed Senapathi is also working on this untitled series says director Pawan. In the days to come, more details of the web series and its title will be revealed by the makers.
