Satya: Ab Tak Pachchees | Watch OTTplay's Documentary On The Making Of A Cult Classic

Back in 1998, even the people involved in its making perhaps had little idea of exactly how far-reaching Satya's impact on the Indian cinematic and pop culture landscape would be. It cemented the careers of Anurag Kashyap, Manoj Bajpayee, Shefali Shah, Saurabh Shukla and a host of others, while underscoring the acclaim for RGV as a filmmaker. Urmila Matondkar and JD Chakravarthy would have their performances in Satya counted among their all-time bests.

In Ab Tak Pachchees, OTTplay goes behind the scenes to deconstruct the alchemy that produced Satya. How it shaped the grammar of cinema, and the Indian imagination. To unravel the complex interplay of factors that elevate a good movie to greatness, the documentary features interviews with Bajpayee, Kashyap, RGV, Chakravarthy, Apurva Asrani and many more.
